We had an overnight "staycation" locally at The Gaylord Texan. It was an end of summer celebration and also a way to check out their new water park area Paradise Springs. Andy took the day off of work on Friday and we spent one night there and hung out at the water park majority of the time. Natalie and I got pretend tattoos and our hair braided. Of course there was alot of swimming involved! DJ Splashtown had the music going and we ate lunch poolside. It was a lot of fun and it did feel like we were out of town! We had dinner at the River Walk and the Mariachis serenaded Natalie. Another fun family outing that left a lasting impression on Natalie. Of course I want to do this again and Natalie does too but this time she said she wants to spend the night there 2 nights!
